NEWS: MCM Information About Belfast Show

As announced last year MCM were bringing their pop culture shows to our shores with two events in Belfast and Dublin. The Belfast event which takes place on June 7th and 8th in Kings Hall Pavilons has finally had some activity on the dedicated web site within

Here’s what they have to say about Belfast:

MCM Expo bring its celebration of sci-fi, games, comics, anime and cosplay to Northern Ireland for the very first time in 2014, with the inaugural MCM Belfast Comic Con coming to Belfast’s Kings Hall Complex on 7-8 June 2014.

Commenting on the new show – which will feature MCM’s trademark mix of geeky goodness, great special guests, onstage panels and colourful cosplay – event co-organiser Paul Miley said: “We’re delighted to be bringing our popular comic con brand to Belfast next year. After we announced our new Dublin show, Northern Irish comic book fans were asking when they were going to get an event …well, here it is!

“With MCM shows now covering the whole of England, Ireland and Scotland, there’s never been a better time for gamers, comic collectors, sci-fi enthusiasts, movie buffs and fans of geek culture in general to check out the comic c0n scene.”

“As the record-breaking attendance at last year’s events proved, there’s an increasing appetite for MCM comic conventions,” added MCM co-organiser Bryan Cooney. “We’d like everyone to come along and experience one for themselves, and with our ever-expanding roster of top quality events, that’s never been easier.”
