NEWS: Dublin Comic Con To Ring In The Changes For 2015
The organisers of Dublin Comic Con are not resting on their laurels after throwing a hugely successful show this past summer. Thinking ahead to next year’s show, they announced via social media a slew of changes to how next summer’s show will be set up.
The changes include a new state of the art venue that was announced in mid November as being at the Convention Centre in the heart of the city. Exhibitor stalls/AA tables will be purchased via an online system on a first come first served basis. So when they’re gone that’s it.
Tickets for the 2015 show will be sold on a daily basis as due to logistical reasons, weekend tickets will not be made available.
Organisers went on to say that there will be two large self contained panel rooms and smaller workshop rooms at the convention.
Presumably this one came from attendee feedback but in 2015 there will be cloakrooms available on site.
The convention have moved to limit the amount of press pass numbers and they warn prospective press hounds to move very quickly as soon as it is announced to get your press pass.
And finally it is promised to have bigger sets, bigger props, more great GUESTS!
Of course as soon as there any further developments announced, we will let you know.
